We had some beautiful sunny weather in late March, but with our coastal snowpack, it’s still very much winter in the mountains! Check out the following local resources to help plan your adventures this spring:
- Sea to Sky Gondola Webcam: our local gondola has a webcam at the summit lodge (located at 885m above sea level), as well as detailed weather forecasts for both the basecamp, as well as the summit.
- Sea to Sky Gondola Trail Conditions: the gondola staff do an excellent job at keeping this page up to date, which details how the conditions are looking for trails like the Sea to Summit, Al’s Habrich, and SkyPilot Valley.
- Black Tusk Snowmobile Club Webcam: our local snowmobile club (which has been operating for over 50 years!) have a webcam setup at their Brohm Ridge chalet, which is located at approximately 1550m above sea level.
- You can also check out resources from our neighbours in Whistler and North Vancouver! Cypress Mountain has a Conditions and Cams page with up-to-date information and webcams, and Whistler Blackcomb has its Mountain Cams resource, where you can see current conditions from the base at 650m, all the way up to Whistler Peak at 2,182m!
If you’ve got a specific adventure in mind, our friends at Valhalla Pure Outfitters in Downtown Squamish are a great resource for local trail conditions.
